June 19, 2016 – Believing that there wouldn’t be anyone better for the position, President Barrack Obama, raised his hand and finally endorsed his former Secretary of State, Hilary Clinton.
On a video footage recorded last June 9, the American president said that he was always for Clinton and that he could no longer wait to leave his position and campaign for the endorsed candidate. He gave out his statement after meeting Clinton’s rival Bernie Sanders.
Obama clarified that both Sanders and Clinton had the same vision for the country which is to have a big heart and to continually give every child all the rights and chances in order to fulfill his or her full potential as an individual, the way they were able to exercise theirs.
Clinton ultimately welcomed with two arms the endorsement of the president and promise to do her best to rein in Wall Street on the first 100 days of her office as a President. Obama had long supported Clinton’s plans on the banning of hazardous investments in the country, assuring dependence among financial regulators, and holding executives of financial firms responsible for whatever wrong that they have done.
Even with this endorsement, Sanders don’t have plans of conceding as well as campaigning for Clinton however he assured all his supporters that he would do his best to defeat their opponent, the Republican nominees, Donald Trump.
