May 1, 2016 – The most underachieving team in baseball managed to hit their game against the Athetics today. This has been attributed to excellent starts of leadoff home run by Jose Altuve and Doug Fister. The once last placed Astros win against Athletics with a score of 2 – 1 at the Coliseum. With this, they have, as well, capped their West Coast Trip with a 2 – 4 record.
Fister has been very quick with his job and has been at his most efficient self in his five starts with the Astros giving credible justice to his $7 million deal with the team. It can be recalled that his excellent performance allowed only a single run over 6 and 2/3 innings, cruising without sweat the first six. He first pitched this season by the seventh inning where he faced Coco Crisp, who smacked a line drive to the right field where George Springer received with a headfirst diving catch. Of course, the following innings had been quite difficult not only to Fister but as well as the rest of the team given that their opponent included Tony Sipp, Yonder Alonso, Marcus Semien, and Chris Coghlan.
