Robin van Persie and Phil Neville’s sons are training with Manchester City’s academy, and not United.
Shaqueel van Persie, seven, and Harvey Neville, 11, are both involved in the youth setup on the blue half of the city rather than joining the club their fathers are directly involved in, report the Manchester Evening News.
It appears a strange move and not immediately clear as to why the pair aren’t at Old Trafford.

A club source told the local paper that: ‘There’s quite a bit of surprise about it. You would have thought that if they were going to be with anyone it would have been United.’
Neither child has officially signed with Manuel Pellegrini’s Blues, although they have been training with the club.
Neville returned to United to become a coach under David Moyes last summer, while Van Persie was the top scorer in England last season following his £24million move from Arsenal.
The Dutch striker has come in for steady criticism this year after a string of below par performances.
