Whatever you think about women and their (alleged) drive to have kids, science suggests that one thing is clear: The “maternal urge” drops 25 percent with every 15 additional IQ points. It’s unclear whether this is biology or due to the opportunities to make loads of money and have lots of fun. But of course, it has people arguing: “If there is one thing that humans (and all other species in nature) are decisively not designed for, it is voluntary childlessness,” says/trolls London School of Economics psychologist Satoshi Kanazawa.
